ISRHML’s Trainee Expansion Program (TEP) is the first program tailored for trainees and early career academics interested in human milk and lactation research.
TEP provides merit-based funding up to USD $100,000 for two types of projects:

International Society for Research in Human Milk and Lactation (ISRHML) requires the following project information:
*Additional Host Institution is for Trainee Bridge Fund (TBF) applications only
Enter Applicant’s Name, Affiliation, Contact Information, Emergency Contact Information (i.e. Name, Phone Number, Email Address).
* For Trainee Bridge Fund (TBF) Applications Only: Also enter the Training Program Enrollment Status, Training Program Start and Expected End Date, Career Plans
Answers should not exceed the word limit set for each question. After answering all questions, click the ‘Submit’ button to save the entered information.
It is important to save any new input before leaving the page.

If you want to proceed filling in additional fields of the application form but you cannot continue to the next page, please enter the word ‘Placeholder’ in the fields that have not been completed. Remember to update those fields before submitting!

You will have a chance to look over the application to make sure all is complete. Any changes that you make will be reflected instantly. You DO NOT need to go through all submission steps in order to change one thing, simply utilize the step links in the Application Control Panel and edit previously entered information. At any point in the online submission process, prior to the submission deadline, you can return to a previous completed step (even if the Confirmation step was completed) and edit the submission.
Based on the grant you are applying for, you will be able to upload required and optional documents.
IMPORTANT! Both Trainee Bridge Fund (TBF) and Trainee Travel Fund (TTF) applications utilize pre-defined templates provided by ISRHML (see below). When submitting required documents, i.e., Budget Form and Type of Training, the pre-defined templates MUST BE USED. Documents will not be accepted in any other format or the application may NOT be reviewed.
*Please note, for the ‘Upload Documents’ step, only required and optional files are supported by the online system.
The following file types may be uploaded: PDF document (*.pdf), Word document (*.doc/*.docx), XLS file (*.xls/xlsx), JPEG image (*.jpg), GIF image (*.gif), or PNG image (*.png). Specific required documents may be restricted to a specific file type(s).
