MEMBERSHIP APPLICATION:
FULL MEMBERSHIPS
1. Investigators who have a doctoral degree or equivalent experience, and at least two publications in peer-reviewed journals in the field of human milk or lactation.
2. Professionals who hold policy-making positions that pertain to human lactation and have at least 2 publications that pertain to public policy decisions regarding human lactation, infant feeding, or a closely related area.
Please be ready to upload the following documents with your full member application:
– Letter of application
(a brief letter stating your institution, training and background. Please indicate how your research is related to human milk and lactation)
– CV or Resume
– 2 publications related to Human Milk and Lactation
ASSOCIATE MEMBERSHIPS
Associate Membership is open to individuals with at least a baccalaureate degree or equivalent who specialize in research, education, or clinical practice related to human milk or lactation. Associate members receive all correspondences sent to the full membership of the Society, but associate members do not have voting privileges. When associate members have met the requirements of full membership, they may request full membership status by emailing info@isrhml.org.

(a brief letter stating your institution, training program/level, supervisor, and project. Please indicate how the project is related to human milk and lactation)
– CV or Resume
TRAINEE MEMBERSHIPS
Trainee membership is open to undergraduate and graduate students and post-doctoral fellows who are participating in research related to human milk/breastfeeding or lactation.
Please be ready to upload the following documents with your trainee member application:
– Letter of application
(a brief letter stating your institution, training program/level, supervisor, and project. Please indicate how the project is related to human milk and lactation)
– CV or Resume
Once you have the above documents ready, continue with the following steps.
Step 1. Start below by choosing the country that you currently reside in and then follow the prompts to complete the application process.
Step 2. Your application will be reviewed and if approved, you will be emailed a separate email that includes a link to pay the appropriate membership level fee.
Step 3. Follow instructions in the separate email to pay fee.
